My hope over the next two years is to love and serve with all of my heart! In my two year commitment to Youth With a Mission, my heart is to learn more about who I am and also to walk alongside others in discovering more about who they were created to be! I want to be all about championing the dreams and passions of others and to assist others in seeing their desires come into fruition!
I am so in love with Jesus and right now, I see a generation that is plagued by issues with fear, self-confidence, anxiety, self hatred, and so much more. My heart breaks for the people who can’t see that Jesus truly does love them so much. He wants to have real conversations with them and let them know that nothing is too big or too small for him to be involved with!
My vision for the next to years will be crazy, but I’m willing to go wherever Jesus wants me!
From mid June to Late August, I will be traveling from Kona to Los Angeles and to Washington D.C. I will be a staff member at high school camps that Youth With a Mission runs throughout the summer called Infusion. These two week courses are more than encouraging kids to find themselves, we as a staff will be radically walking alongside these powerful high schoolers to become equipped to share the love of Jesus and to be confident in the truth that Jesus has declared over their lives! These guys are powerful and need to be championed as world changers!
My second adventure will begin late August as I become a staff member of a Discipleship Training School called Community Transformations. We are a rag tag group of men and women that are devoted to falling more in love with Jesus and to sharing in a communal lifestyle. From here, I will be discipling and mentoring a group of 8-15 people who are anywhere from 17-40 years of age and we will eventually head to a nation (TBD!) by late December for about three months! The hope is that each student would be able to see the brokenness in the world and respond by creating a solution whether it is working to create clean water for a village, teaching English, or simply encouraging a stranger on the street with kindness.
I will be doing this for the next two years and I could not be more stoked on what the possibilities are for my life! I would love to keep you updated on all the amazing things that are going to be taking place over the next two years!
